I can't do that, Sir.

My husband got a DVD of exercise program for me a couple weeks ago. The DVD is called "Billy Blanks Boot Camp"and I heard it was popular in USA and Europe nearly 20 years ago. Now it has come to Japan at last and very popular.
Basically, I don't like doing any sports, but I knew I needed to do exercise to lose some weight. So, I tried the program a several times and every time I did it, I got muscle ache. I think the program will work, if I can continue to do, but I'm not sure I will be able to do it. Maybe, I should do yoga or something like that. Ouch!

I recommend jogging and riding a bike. That's what I like the most. :) They say Tokyo is very crowded city, but I think there must be some places where people can safely jog or ride a bike. In fact the best place to ride a bicycle is pure country, far from the cities, but I don't know if it's possible to go to the country only by bike. Tokyo is so big, that it would take hours to get out of it. Maybe Shinkansen (or some other train) is the way to solve it. :)
Don't worry about the muscles. They hurt only for the first week (if you practice consistently, everyday, of course). :)

Rast, they are good ideas. As you said, Tokyo is very crowded city, and, unfortunatelly, I live in a part of central Tokyo, so I couldn't find good place for jogging and cycling around my house. Of cource, Tokyo is huge city and there are a lot of good places where we can jog and cycle in Tokyo, but I can't go there easily.cos before I go there I have to go through a lot of traffic and polluted air by cars. In addition, we basically can't get on the train with our bicycles.

Um, riding a bike on the streets of Japan is akin to a death trap!
I tried biking in Kyoto and found myself pushing the bike along for most of the day. No good!
